Hi, I am Marija!

Iā€™m a Lithuania-born, Netherlands-based multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, painting, and digital art.

After studying Multimedia Design in London, I began my creative career working as a concept artist for video games and as a childrenā€™s book illustrator, while also collaborating with editorial, advertising and commercial clients on a wide range of projects and commissions.

Over the years, my work has become deeply rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and worldbuilding. I love creating strange little characters and atmospheric worlds inspired by folklore, nature, dreams and everyday observations.

For me, creativity isnā€™t about perfection or following strict rules. Itā€™s about learning how to trust your ideas and build a process that feels personal and alive.

In this course, Iā€™ll share my complete creative process with you,Ā from finding inspiration and developing ideas to designing characters, building worlds, exploring color and texture and turning loose sketches into finished illustrations full of story and emotion.
